Hey there!

I’m Nic – family photographer, kid whisperer, and quiet dreamer turned memory-keeper. My love for photography started young—I was always the one with a camera in hand, drawn to the little in-between moments. But it wasn’t until I became a mum that I truly understood how fleeting these days are. That’s when I knew—I wanted to help other families freeze time, too.

Growing up in Sydney, with childhood stints overseas, I learned to appreciate different places, cultures, and the way stories unfold in the simplest moments. Now, Newcastle is home, and I spend my days exploring beaches, bush tracks, and quiet lakeside spots—often with my husband, Ian, and our endlessly curious little firecracker, Maeve, in tow.

My sessions are relaxed, natural, and rooted in connection. I’m not here for stiff poses or forced smiles—I’m here to capture the way your toddler tucks their head into your shoulder, the way your newborn’s fingers curl around yours, the joy, the chaos, and the love that makes your family yours. Whether we’re chasing golden light at the beach or soaking up the coziness of home, I focus on creating images that feel warm, nostalgic, and deeply real.

Fun fact: I love a good crime podcast, and I’m not above cracking a dad joke to get everyone laughing.

If you’re after photos that don’t just look beautiful but feel like your life right now—let’s make it happen.

Let's capture your now — just as it is!
